BARBERSHOP 3: THE NEXT CUT Trailer and Poster

The first trailer and poster for the comedy sequel "Barbershop: The Next Cut" have been released. Althoguh the need for a Barbershop franchise may have seemed unlikely back in 2002, here we are with a third installment that continues the saga of Calvin Palmer (Ice Cube) and his establishment.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee ("The Best Man"), the sequel also stars Nicki Minaj, Regina Hall, Eve, Cedric the Entertainer, Common, Sean Patrick Thomas, Anthony Anderson, Lamorne Morris, JB Smoove and Jaszmine Lewis.

"Barbershop: The Next Cut" opens in theaters on April 15, 2016.

Official Synopsis

"It’s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin’s Barbershop. Calvin (Ice Cube) and his longtime crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighborhood."
