UNDERGROUND TV Series Trailers and Posters

Two trailers and twelve posters for WGN America's original scripted series "Underground" have been released online.

The series tells the story of a group of slaves planning a daring 600-mile escape from a Georgia plantation via an Underground Railroad run by a secret abolitionist couple.

Created and executive-produced by Misha Green and Joe Pokaski, the series stars Aldis Hodge, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Alano Miller, Jessica de Gouw, Marc Blucas, Adina Porter, Christopher Meloni, Mykelti Williamson, Amirah Vann, Johnny Ray Gill, Chris Chalk, Reed Diamond, Theodus Crane, Renwick Scott and Jussie Smollett.

No premiere date has been set.

Official Synopsis

"In WGN America’s “Underground,” a courageous blacksmith Noah (Aldis Hodge) covertly organizes a small group of his fellow slaves and pieces together a daring plan of escape across hundreds of miles to freedom. The odds of success are razor-thin for those who make it off the plantation, while the risks, dangers and obstacles multiply each step of the way."
