The first trailer and posters for Marvel Studios' upcoming sequel "Captain America: Civil War" have been released.
The film is directed by "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" helmers Joe and Anthony Russo and it picks up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in charge of the new Avengers. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure fractures the team and pits Rogers against former Avenger Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). And, of course, there will be a new mysterious villain ready to take over the world.
The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, Daniel Brühl and Tom Holland.
"Captain America: Civil War" opens in theaters on May 6, 2016.
