Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the official trailer and three posters for "The Divergent Series: Allegiant". The film focuses on the first half of Veronica Roth's last book in the series, and it will be followed by the final chapter, titled "Ascendant", which opens in theaters on March 24, 2017.
In "Allegiant", Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) travel outside of Chicago's enclosing wall, where our heroes are confronted with shocking new truths as a new battle that threatens all of humanity is ignited.
The cast also includes Jeff Daniels, Octavia Spencer, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, Daniel Dae Kim and Naomi Watts.
"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" opens in theaters on March 18, 2016.
