Despite a close call with new wide release "War Room", it was ultimately "Straight Outta Compton" who came out on top, for a third consecutive week, no less. Overall, though, the box-office was pretty weak.

Find out more about the weekend box office after the jump.

Universal's "Straight Outta Compton" held on to the top spot at the box-office with $13 million, bringin its domestic total to $134 million. Its main contender this week was the faith-based drama "War Room" which took in $11 million versus a modest $3 million budget.

The other new wide releases weren't so lucky. While Owen Wilson's new action thriller "No Escape" scored a somewhat decent $8.1 million and ranked fourth, the Zac Efron starrer "We Are Your Friends" grossed only $1.8 million, placing it outside the top 10.
