Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games") is attached to star in the romantic dramedy "The Rosie Project" which is being developed by Columbia Pictures. Based on Graeme Simsion's book and adapted by "(500) Days of Summer" and "The Fault in Our Stars" writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the film will follow a socially inept genetics professor who comes up with a scientifically sound survey to find the perfect mate. But all his precise calculations are derailed when he meets Rosie Jarman (Lawrence), who is the exact opposite of the woman suggested by his scientific method.
Lawrence can be seen this year in the final chapter of "The Hunger Games", Mockingjay — Part 2 in November, and in David O. Russell's "Joy" in December. She is currently filming "X-Men: Apocalypse" and getting ready to star alongside Chris Pratt in the sci-fi romance "Passengers.
