And the title of this article pretty much says it all. "Project Almanac" is a found-footage thriller about a group of friends who build a time machine and then deal with the consequences of cheating time. It's produced by Michael Bay and it stars relative newcomers Jonny Weston, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Amy Landecker, Allen Evangelista and Virginia Gardner. The film also marks the feature film debut of director Dean Israelite who is actually a cousin of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" director Jonathan Liebesman.
