A new official trailer for Joe Lynch's actioner "Everly" has been released along with some new images from the film. Salma Hayek stars as a down-on-her-luck woman who is forced to fend off waves of assassins sent by her ex, a dangerous mob boss, while trying to save her estranged mother and daughter. I'm not quite sure what to make of this film right now. It looks ridiculous, but it's clearly an exploitation film designed to bear the grindhouse appeal that you can usually find in any Robert Rodriguez flick. I might just watch this out of pure curiosity. Jennifer Blanc, Togo Igawa, Akie Kotabe and Hiroyuki Watanabe co-star.
