The first trailer and poster for the horror film "The Lazarus Effect" have been released. Produced by Jason Blum ("The Purge", "Paranormal Activity", "Insidious") and directed by David Gelb, the film tells the story of a group of medical students who discover a method to bring the dead back to life. Yes, it's kind of like "Flatliners", except in this movie one of the students, played by Olivia Wilde, gets resurrected and brings back something from Hell. This is a Blumhouse flick, after all. The cast also features Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger.

Official Synopsis
"When a team of research students mapping the human brain accidentally kills one of their own, they unwittingly unlock a deadly force by reanimating their colleague. Fighting for their own lives, the team must contain their colleague in the lab before she is unleashed on the world."
