Keanu Reeves is set to star in the sci-fi thriller "Replicas" for Lotus Entertainment and di Bonaventura Pictures. The film will focus on a neuroscientist (Reeves) whose family is killed in a traffic accident and will stop at nothing to bring them back which pits him against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force and the physical laws of science. Tanya Wexler ("Hysteria") will direct from a screenplay by Chad St. John ("The Punisher: Dirty Laundry"). The original script treatment was handled by Stephen Hamel ("Henry's Crime") and Reeves. The announcement came after the surprise success of Reeves' actioner "John Wick" which made its debut in second place at the box-office last week.
