Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon Team Up for BIG LITTLE LIES

Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are joining forces to produce and star in the comedy "Big Little Lies". The film is based on the New York Times bestseller of the same name by Liane Moriarty and it "tells the comic tale of three mothers of kindergartners whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder." The film is aimed at a 2017 release, but it's quite early for a definitive schedule. Kidman is currently working on the drama "The Family Fang" directed by and co-starring Jason Bateman and can also be seen this year in the family film "Paddington", the biopic "Queen of the Desert" and the mystery thriller "Before I Go to Sleep". Witherspoon has three films coming out this year, the true story dramas "Wild" and "The Good Lie", and Paul Thomas Anderson's new film "Inherent Vice".
