NOAH (2014) Trailers & Poster - Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson

The first trailers and poster for Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic "Noah" have been released. There are actually two trailers, the official trailer and the international version. As expected, it's an impressive looking film that will probably feature some wonderful performances from its great cast. The scope is very ambitious and if it gets everything right, it could become an instant classic and an example for future biblical flicks.

The film stars Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, Ray Winstone, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas, Mark Margolis and Anthony Hopkins.

On a side note, I couldn't help but think about "Troy" while watching these trailers. I hope that Aronofsky has succeeded in avoiding the trappings of such expensive Hollywood productions which sometimes forget about the human element amidst all the visual effects and epic battles, especially since there have been rumors that Aronofsky is having trouble with the studio regarding the final cut of the film. I'm betting that the studio wants more action, while Aronofsky is looking to achieve something deep and meaningful with this film.

"Noah" opens on March 28, 2014.

Check out the trailers and poster after the jump.
