The viral video itself was released on the eve of "Super 8"s release in theaters. The three-minute clips is a sort of army recording from the 1960s that gives some background information on the creature we know escapes and wreaks havoc in the movie. I don't know if the video actually contains SPOILERS or if it just adds more backstory for the movie, but just in case, I won't say anymore and will leave it up to you if you want to watch this or not.
