"Super 8", directed by J.J. Abrams ("Lost", "M:I 3", "Fringe") and produced by Steven Spielberg has set the imagination of movie-goers everywhere on fire. What is it about ? Nobody really knows. No synopsis has been released. And that is a brilliant marketing idea. They've already got two heavy-hitters on the posters, that's enough to get our attention. Supposedly, this sci-fi adventure is a throwback to the days of Spielberg produced movies like "Gremlins"or "The Goonies". And let's not forget the classic Spielberg directed "E.T.". The trailer provides more story elements, without revealing exactly what comes out of that train wreck. We meet the characters and witness some very interesting sequences. I have a feeling this will be one of the most spectacular movies of 2011. "Super 8" opens June 10. Until then, enjoy this kick-ass trailer.
