"Christy" is a biographical sports drama directed by David Michôd ("Animal Kingdom", "The Rover") from a script co-written by Michôd and Mirrah Foulkes based on the real-life story of former professional boxer Christy Martin. Sydney Sweeney stars in the title role alongside Ben Foster, Merritt Wever, Katy O'Brian, Ethan Embry, Tony Cavalero and Chad L. Coleman. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and opened in theaters on November 7, 2025.
