SHABAKE Anime Series Trailers, Images and Posters

"Shabake" is a new anime series based on the historical fantasy novel series written by Megumi Hatanaka with illustrations by Yu Shibata. Shinchosha publishes the original Shabake in Japan. Previous adaptations include a 2007 TV film and a sequel, as well as a 3-minute ONA produced by Shuka in 2021.

Takahiro Okawa directs at animation studio BN Pictures with Toko Machida handling series composition, Akari Minagawa doing the character designs and Rei Ishizuka composing the music. The voice cast includes Daiki Yamashita, Koji Okino, Taku Yashiro, Daisuke Namikawa, Seiichiro Yamashita, Shinba Tsuchiya, Shion Wakayama, Akira Sekine, Shinya Takahashi and Misako Tomioka.

The opening song is titled "Inochi no Parade" ("Parade of Life") and is performed by Kujira. The ending theme song is "Myaku-Myaku ("Continuous") performed by Kafune. The series premiered on October 3, 2025 and also streams on Crunchyroll.
