"Primitive War" is a sci-fi action horror film directed by Luke Sparke ("Scurry", "Bring Him to Me") from a script co-written by Sparke and Ethan Pettus based on the latter's 2017 novel of the same name. The cast includes Ryan Kwanten, Tricia Helfer, Nick Wechsler and Jeremy Piven. The film received a limited release in theaters on August 21, 2025, and was released on digital platforms on October 3, 2025.
