A Couple Of Cuckoos Season 2 Trailer Clips Images Posters

The second season of the romantic comedy anime series "A Couple of Cuckoos" has premiered on July 8, 2025 and is also streaming on Crunchyroll. Based on the manga of the same name by Miki Yoshikawa, the 24-episode first season aired in 2022 and was chief-directed by Hiroaki Akagi and directed by Yoshiyuki Shirahata at studios Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP, with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, character designs by Aya Takano and music by Rei Ishizuka.

For Season 2, Masakazu Hishida ("Viral Hit") takes over as director and series composer (under the name Jou Aoba) at studio Okuruto Noboru, with new character designs by Kyoko Kon. The opening song is "Kimi ga Kureta Mono" by asmi ("Food for the Soul").

The voice cast includes Kaito Ishikawa, Akari Kito, Nao Toyama and Konomi Kohara. The English dub for Season 2 premiered on July 22nd, and it features Nicholas Andrew Louie, Lindsay Sheppard, AmaLee, Bryn Apprill, Bao the Whale and Michelle Rojas.

"Umino Nagi and Amano Erika were born on the same day and swapped at birth. Nagi was raised as the son of a diner owner, and Erika the daughter of a hotel tycoon. Their parents encourage them to become engaged, and they begin life together. Soon though, infatuations arise as Nagi becomes stuck in a love quadrangle.
