The second season of the Australian drama series "The Newsreader" has premiered originally on August 15, 2021 on ABC TV. In the US, the second season was available on The Roku Channel in 2022, and on August 7, 2025 it started streaming on AMC+. Created by Michael Lucas, the show stars Anna Torv, Sam Reid, William McInnes, Michelle Lim Davidson, Chum Ehelepola, Marg Downey and Stephen Peacocke.
