Superstar 2025 Netflix Series Trailer Images And Poster

"Superstar" ("Superestar") is a Spanish biographical miniseries created and co-directed by Nacho Vigalondo ("Colossal", "Paradise Hills", "Daniela Forever"). Set deep in the chaos of the early 2000s, this series reimagines the life of pop icon Tamara and her metamorphosis into Yurena as never seen before.

The cast includes Ingrid García-Jonsson, Secun de la Rosa, Rocío Ibáñez, Natalia de Molina, Pepón Nieto, Carlos Areces and Julián Villagrán. The series is produced by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. It premiered on Netflix on July 18, 2025.

"That shooting star brought us a cast of characters no one ever took seriously, yet they burst onto the covers and stages of the most talked-about shows of the time. At the heart of it all was Tamara (Ingrid García-Jonsson), a true superstar who never changed to fit in. Always by her side was her mother, Margarita Seisdedos (Rocío Ibáñez), as they made their way through the most controversial TV programs of the era. Orbiting around them were other equally unclassifiable figures: Leonardo Dantés (Secun de la Rosa), Loly Álvarez (Natalia de Molina), Paco Porras (David Areces), and Arlequín (Julián Villagrán). Together, they formed a bizarre and unforgettable media constellation."
