"Our Times" ("Nuestros Tiempos") is a Mexican sci-fi drama directed by Chava Cartas from a script by Juan Carlos Garzon and Angelica Gudino. The cast includes Lucero, Benny Ibarra, Renata Vaca, Oferlia Medina and Alejandro Avila. The film premiered on June 11, 2025 on Netflx.

We have waited twenty years for the return of Lucero to movies and it was worth the wait. I laughed. I cried. It left me asking myself questions and pondering “what if’s…?” Every detail was meticulously planned and top notch quality. As an historian, I spotted nothing out of proper historical context. My one complaint is more of an observation: I would have loved it to have been longer. Thankfully, I can watch it as many times as I wish via Netflix
