"I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" is a new anime series based on the light novel series by Yomu Mishima and Nadare Takamine, which was also adapted into a manga. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses both the light novel and the manga in English.

The show is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa, with composition and script by Katsuhiko Takayama and character design by Kazuya Morimae. Music is composed by Yusuke Seo and Shun Narita. The opening theme song is "Uchuuteki MYSTERY" ("Cosmic Mystery") by Saishu Mirai Shoujo, and the ending theme song is "Nantonaku" ("Somehow") by Nagi Fujisaki.

The voice cast features Natsuki Hanae, Reina Ueda, Takehito Koyasu, Ayana Taketatsu, Mikako Komatsu, Kaori Maeda, Shinichiro Miki, Yoji Ueda and Tetsu Inada.

The anime series premiered in Japan on April 5, 2025, and is also streaming on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
