New On Streaming: ARMAND, THE 8TH DAY, QUISLING: THE FINAL DAYS, HOOD WITCH, APPALACHIAN DOG and POPEYE THE SLAYER MAN

Here's what's currently streaming on digital platforms:

• The psychological drama "Armand" written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel in his feature directorial debut. The film stars Renate Reinsve, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Endre Hellestveit, Thea Lambrechts Vaulen, Øystein Røger, and Vera Veljovic. It premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival where it won the Camera d'Or for Best First Feature Film.
• The crime drama "The 8th Day" directed by Alexandra Chando in her feature directorial debut. The cast includes Darren Mann ("1923"), Phoebe Tonkin ("Boy Swallows Universe"), Musfata Speaks ("Landman", "All American"), Valerie Mahaffey, Lindsey Morgan and Tanner Beard.
• The WWII biopic "Quisling: The Final Days" starring Gard B. Eidsvold as Vidkun Quisling, former head of a pro-Nazi puppet government, who was sentenced to death for his collaboration with Nazi Germany during their occupation of Norway. The film is directed by Erik Poppe ("Utoya: July 22").
• The French horror thriller "Hood Witch" ("Roqya") from writer/director Saïd Belktibia ("Athena") that stars Golshifteh Farahani ("Extraction"), Amine Zariouhi and Jérémy Ferrari.
• The indie period drama "Appalachian Dog" written and directed by Colin Henning. Henning also stars alongside Georgia Morgan, Hayleigh Hart Franklin, Monica Rae Summers Gonzalez and Aaron J. Stewart.
• The slasher horror film "Popeye the Slayer Man" loosely based on the iconic character Popeye, which was able to be produced thanks to the character entering the public domain. The film is directed by Robert Michael Ryan ("Dark Revelations") and stars Jason Robert Stephens, Sarah Nicklin, Angela Relucio, Elena Juliano, Marie-Louise Boisnier, Mabel Thomas and Scott Swope.
