New Trailers: THE MONKEY, UGLIES, DEADLY DEALINGS, EMPIRE WAIST, OMNI LOOP and SEEKING MAVIS BEACON

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The Stephen King adaptation "The Monkey" directed by Osgood Perkins, best known for writing and directing 2024's most successful horror film "Longlegs". Based on King's short story of the same name, the film stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O'Brien and Rohan Campbell.
  • The new Netflix sci-fi film "Uglies" based on the best-selling YA book series by Scott Westerfield. Directed by McG ("Charlie's Angels", "The Babysitter"), the film stars Joey King, Keith Powers, Chase Stokes, Brianne Tju, Jan Luis Castellanos, Charmin Lee and Laverne Cox.
  • The horror film "Deadly Dealings" starring indie scream queen Roni Jonah ("Shark Exorcist", "Volumes of Blood"), Helene Udy ("My Bloody Valentine", "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman"), Conor McCarthy ("Weredeer", "Wetworks"), Dixie Gers ("Crazy Fat Ethel", "Death Care"), Adam Freeman ("Truly Madly", "Cannibal Hookers"), and Stephen McGill ("Reunion From Hell").
  • The coming-of-age teen underdog dramedy "Empire Waist" written and directed by comic Claire Ayoub ("Upright Citizens Brigade"). The cast includes Mia Kaplan, Jemima Yevu, Rainn Wilson, Missi Pyle, Jolene Purdy, and Daisy Washington.
  • The dark comedy "Omni Loop" starring Mary-Louise Parker ("Weeds"). The film is written and directed by Brazilian filmmaker Bernardo Britto.
  • The comedic documentary "Seeking Mavis Beacon"

DEADLY DEALINGS was directed by Adam Freeman from a script he wrote alongside Dixie Gers and Jake Zelch. The filmmakers set out to immerse the audience in a surreal experience where a dream morphs into a nightmare. The team dedicated immense effort to give fans a unique twist on the horror genre, blending various supernatural influences with vibrant colors, blood, and glitter.

Fans of Suspiria and Blood & Black Lace will instantly recognize the homage to the vivid and haunting aesthetics of Italian Technicolor horror in this high concept, gorgeously shot 1980s neon horror tribute.

DEADLY DEALINGS is led by a powerful performance by Roni Jonah, an actress, director, and producer who has made significant contributions to the indie horror genre. Her career began in professional wrestling, which provided her with a unique platform to transition into the entertainment industry. Jonah's dynamic presence has been felt in various films and TV shows, including her memorable performance in Donald Farmer’s 2015 cult hit, "Shark Exorcist," which gained attention from Stephen King for its audacity.

Jonah has also left her mark on the groundbreaking LGBT fantasy series "Dagger Kiss," showcasing her ability to tackle diverse and complex roles. Her directorial ventures, especially in horror, have garnered acclaim on the festival circuit, demonstrating her knack for blending supernatural elements with vibrant visual storytelling. "
