Wicked Little Letters Olivia Colman Jessie Buckley Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The British period comedy "Wicked Little Letters" starring Academy Award winner Olivia Colman and Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley. The film is directed by Thea Sharrock ("Me Before You").
  • The psychological thriller "State of Consciousness" starring Emile Hitsch. The film is directed by veteran TV helmer Marcus Stokes ("The Flash", "Arrow", "The Walking Dead").
  • The coming-of-age drama "We Grown Now" from writer/director Minhal Baig ("Hala"), which premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival to rave reviews.
  • The horror thriller "Amelia's Children" starring Carloto Cotta ("Elite"), Brigette Lundy-Paine ("Bill & Ted Face the Music") and Alba Baptista ("Warrior Nun").
  • The Shudder horror film "History of Evil" starring Paul Wesley ("The Vampire Diaries") and Jackie Cruz ("Orange is the New Black").

Synopsis:


"A 1920s English seaside town bears witness to a dark and absurd scandal in this riotous mystery comedy. Based on a stranger than fiction true story, WICKED LITTLE LETTERS follows two neighbours: deeply conservative local Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley). When Edith and fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foul-mouthed Rose is charged with the crime. The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues.
