"Based on Graham Norton’s acclaimed novel, this darkly comic Irish series is set in a small West Cork village where life seems to seep away from its inhabitants. To cope, Sergeant PJ Collins hides away with comfort food, mother of two, Brid, has become an alcoholic, and elegant Evelyn Ross believes her life a waste. But when human remains are found, a community’s worth of anger, resentment and regret are also unearthed. And PJ has to unravel the case of his life."
