"Luther: The Fallen Sun" is a crime thriller directed by Jamie Payne from a script by Neil Cross. The film serves as a sequel to the TV series "Luther" that aired between 2010 and 2019. The cast features Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, Dermot Crowley, Jess Liaudin, Lauryn Ajufo, Natasha Patel and Henry Hereford. The film opened in select theaters on February 24, 2023, and will be released via streaming on Netflix on March 10, 2023.
