The twelfth season of the period drama series "Call the Midwife" premiered on January 1, 2023 on BBC One in the UK, and on March 19, 2023 on PBS in the US. Created by Heidi Thomas, the show stars Vanessa Redgrave, Laura Main, Jenny Agutter, Stephen McGann, Judy Parfitt, Cliff Parisi, Helen George, Linda Bassett, Max Macmillan and Annabelle Apsion.

SYNOPSIS
