"Better Nate Than Ever" is a musical family comedy written and directed by Tim Federle ("Ferdinand" writer), based on his own 2013 novel of the same name. The film tells the coming-of-age story of 13-year-old Nate Foster, who fantasizes about becoming a big Broadway star. He and his best friend Litty mastermind a daring trip to New York City to audition for "Lilo and Stitch: The Musical". The cast features Rueby Wood, Joshua Bassett, Aria Brooks, Lisa Kudrow and Norbert Leo Butz. "Better Nate Than Ever" premiered on Apri 1, 2022 on Disney+.
