"Women of the Movement" is a six-episode historical drama miniseries created by Marissa Jo Cerar, and directed by Gina-Prince Bythewood. Based on the book "Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement" by Devery S. Anderson, the series follows Mamie Till-Mobley (Adrienne Warren), who sought justice for her murdered son, Emmett Till (Cedric Joe), in 1955 Mississippi, and helped spur the civil rights movement. The miniseries premiered on January 6, 2022 on ABC.
