"Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" is a sci-fi horror film written and directed by Johannes Roberts ("47 Meters Down") based on the first and second video games in Capcom's long-running "Resident Evil" franchise. The film is a reboot and shares no continuity with the Milla Jovovich movies. The cast features Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue and Neal McDonough. The film opened in theaters on November 24, 2021.
