"The Electrical Life of Louis Wain" is a biopic directed by Will Sharpe from a script he co-wrote with Simon Stephenson ("Luca"). The film chronicles English artist Louis Wain's rise to prominence at the end of the 19th century due to his surreal cat paintings that seemed to reflect his declining sanity. The cast features Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Foy, Andrea Riseoborugh and Toby Jones. The was released on November 5, 2021 via Amazon Prime Video.
