The fifth season of the sitcom "Young Sheldon" has premiered on October 7, 2021 on CBS. Created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, the show is a spinoff prequel to "The Big Bang Theory" and it stars Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Jim Parsons, Annie Potts and Wallace Shawn.
