"The Chair" is a dramedy series created by Amanda Peet and Annie Julia Wyman, and executive produced by Peet, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The show stars Sandra Oh, Jay Duplass, Holland Taylor, Bob Balaban, Nana Mensah, David Morse and Everly Carganilla. Netlix released the series on August 20, 2021.

Ji-Yoon is faced with a unique set of challenges as the first woman to chair the department, and as one of the few staff members of color at the university.
