"Boogie" is a drama written and directed by Eddie Huang ("Fresh Off the Boat"). The film tells the story of Alfred "Boogie" Chin (Taylor Takahashi), a basketball phenom living in Queens, New York, who struggles to balance the pressure from his traditional East Asian parents to go to a good college over chasing his NBA dreams. Taylour Paige, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Bashar "Pop Smoke" Jackson and Pamelyn Chee co-star.
