"Wonder Woman 1984" is the sequel to the 2017 DC Extended Universe movie "Wonder Woman" directed by Patty Jenkins. Jenkins is back in the director's chair for the new installment, and the screenplay was co-written by Jenkins, Geoff Johns and Dave Callaham.

The film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

"Wonder Woman 1984" premiered on December 15, 2020 on the DC FanDome virtual platform, and on December 25th it was released both in theaters and digitally via HBO Max. After a month of streaming, it will be made available through premium video on demand.
