"Warrior Nun" is a fantasy drama series created by Simon Barry ("Continuum") based on the comic book "Warrior Nun Areala" by Ben Dunn.

The show was originally developed as a feature film and later re-imagined as a Netflix series, and it follows an orphaned teen who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.

The cast features Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, Thekla Reuten, Lorena Andrea, Kristina Tonteri-Young and Tristan Ulloa.

"Warrior Nun" premiered on July 2, 2020 on Netflix.
