"Jojo Rabbit" is a satirical comedy written and directed by Taika Waititi ("Thor: Ragnarok", "What We Do in the Shadows") based on the book "Caging Skies" by Christine Leunens.

The film tells the story of Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis), a lonely German boy who discovers that his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. With the help of his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism. Rebel Wilson, Sam Rockwell, Stephen Merchant and Alfie Allen co-star.

"Jojo Rabbit" premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the main award (the Grolsch People's Choice Award). It opened in limited release in the U.S. on October 18, 2019. The film will expand nationwide on November 8, 2019.
