"Rocketman" is a biopic directed by Dexter Fletcher ("Eddie the Eagle") from a screenplay by Lee Hall ("Billy Elliot", "War Horse"), based on the life of musician Elton John.

Described as a "musical fantasy", the film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight (Taron Egerton) into international superstar Elton John. Jamie Bell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Richard Madden, Stephen Graham and Gemma Jones co-star.

"Rocketman" opened in theaters on May 31, 2019 and received mostly positive reviews from critics.
