"The Prodigy" is a horror film directed by Nicholas McCarthy ("At the Devil's Door") from a script by Jeff Buhler ("The Midnight Meat Train", "Jacob's Ladder"). The film stars Taylor Schilling as a mother whose young son (Jackson Robert Scott) is manifesting disturbing behavior that may be caused by an evil, possibly supernatural force. Colm Feore and Brittany Allen co-star.

"The Prodigy" opened in theaters on February 8, 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics.
