PUZZLE (2018) - Trailer, Clips, Featurette, Images and Poster

The drama "Puzzle" stars Kelly Macdonald as a suburban mother who discovers a passion for solving jigsaw puzzles which unexpectedly draws her into a new world where her life unfolds in ways she could never have imagined.

The film is directed by "Little Miss Sunshine" producer Marc Turtletaub from a script by Oren Moverman ("The Messenger") and Polly Mann based on the Argentinian film "Rompecabezas" written and directed by Natalia Smirnoff. The cast also includes Irrfan Khan, David Denman, Bubba Wiler, Austin Abrams and Liv Hewson.

"Puzzle" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and received a limited release in theaters on July 27, 2018. The critical reception was mostly positive, with Macdonald being singled out for her performance.

"PUZZLE is a closely observed portrait of Agnes, who has reached her early 40s without ever venturing far from home, family or the tight-knit immigrant community in which she was raised by her widowed father. That begins to change in a quietly dramatic fashion when Agnes receives a jigsaw puzzle as a birthday gift and experiences the heady thrill of not only doing something she enjoys, but being very, very good at it."
