"Life Sentence" is a new comedy series from "Significant Mother" creators Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith. The show stars Lucy Hale ("Pretty Little Liars") as a young woman who received a terminal cancer diagnosis, but then finds out that she's cured and must deal with the choices she made when deciding to live like she was dying.

The cast also includes Elliot Knight, Brooke Lyons, Gillian Vigman, Riley Smith, Carlos PenaVega and Dylan Walsh.

"Life Sentence" premiered on March 7, 2018 on The CW. It received negative reviews from critics.

"Stella has spent the last eight years living like she was dying (because she was). But when she finds out that her cancer has been cured, she is suddenly forced to face the long-term consequences of the “live in the moment” decisions she made. With a real future suddenly in front of her, Stella’s cinematic life snaps into reality, and instead of living like she’s dying, she will have to learn to live like she’s living, and help her family and friends do the same."
