The third season of the superhero TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" premiered on October 10, 2017 and returned from the mid-season break on February 12, 2018. The new season will continue to air Mondays at 8/7c, taking over while "Superigirl" takes a two month hiatus. The Season 3 finale will air on Monday, April 9. "Supergirl" will then take over on April 16 at 8/7c for the remaining 10 episodes.

Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Phil Klemmer and based on DC Comics characaters, "Legends of Tomorrow" stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Amy Louise Pemberton, Dominic Purcell, Franz Drameh, Victor Garber, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano, Arthur Darvill and Wentworth Miller.

"The Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations - unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat."
