The new Starz series "American Gods" premieres tonight at 9p. The show is adapted by Bryan Fuller ("Hannibal") and Michael Green ("Logan") from Neil Gaiman's novel of the same name. The first episode is directed by David Slade ("Hard Candy").

The fantasy series imagines a world in which gods exist, as long as people believe in them. That's why in humanity's modern society, their powers have been decreasing. This has given room for other gods to rise, gods that reflect modern day obsessions, like money, technology, and celebrity. Now, a war is brewing between the Old and New gods.

The cast features Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Pablo Schreiber, Orlando Jones, Crispin Glover, Gillian Anderson, Kristin Chenoweth, Cloris Leachman, Peter Stormare and Corbin Bernsen.

SLEIGHT (2017) - Trailer, TV Spots, Clips, Images and Poster

"Sleight" is a supernatural action drama from Jason Blum's BH Tilt, a subdivision of Blumhouse that is aimed for multi-platform releases. Like other Blumhouse productions, "Sleight" is a micro-budget thriller that subverts genre expectations by adding a superhero twist to its story, which focuses on a street magician (Jacob Latimore) who is left to care for his little sister (Storm Reid) after their parents' death. When his connections to the criminal underworld threaten his sister's life, he is forced to use his magic to save her.

Co-written and directed by J.D. Dillard, the film also stars Seychelle Gabriel, Dulé Hill, Sasheer Zamata and Michael Villar.

"Sleight" received a limited release in theaters and is expected to finish its opening weekend with $1-2 million. The film received mixed to positive reviews.

DEAR WHITE PEOPLE Series Trailers, Featurette, Images and Poster

The new Netflix series "Dear White People" is an adaptation of the 2014 film of the same name. Justin Simien returns to write and direct the first two and last episodes of the show. Other episodes are directed by Tina Mabry ("Queen of the South"), Barry Jenkins ("Moonlight"), Steven Tsuchida ("The Jim Gaffigan Show"), Nisha Ganatra and Charlie McDowell ("The One I Love").

The 10-episode series explores racial tensions at a mostly white Ivy League college. Tessa Thompson, who starred in the film, is replaced here by Logan Browning ("Powers"), while Brandon Bell reprises his role. Marque Richardson, Antoinette Robertson, John Patrick Amedori, DeRon Horton and Nia Long also star.

"Dear White People" is now streaming via Netflix.

HOW TO BE A LATIN LOVER Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

Directed by Ken Marino ("Burning Love"), the comedy "How to Be a Latin Lover" stars Eugenio Derbez as Maximo, an aging gigolo who is dumped by his 80-year-old millionaire wife, and finds himself forced to move in with his estranged sister (Salma Hayek) and her son (Raphael Alejandro) in her small apartment.

The film also stars Raquel Welch, McKenna Grace, Kristen Bell, Rob Lowe, Rob Corddry, Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel and Renée Taylor.

"How to Be a Latin Lover" opened in theaters on April 28th, 2017 and received mixed reviews from critics. It is expected to gross $7 million in its opening weekend at the box-office.

The third season of the British sitcom "Catastrophe" has premiered today in the U.S. via Amazon Prime Instant Video. Season 3 features Carrie Fisher's final TV role. She passed away shortly after finishing filming the season.

The series was created by and stars Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan as an American man and an Irish school teacher who navigate the full catastrophe of family life. The cast also includes Mark Bonnar, Jonathan Forbes, Daniel Lapaine and Ashley Jensen.

THE CIRCLE Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

Based on Dave Eggers' novel of the same name, "The Circle" is a thriller that focuses on the digital technology that has allowed for social networking to take over our lives, and warns of the perils of voluntarily renouncing our privacy.

The story's protagonist is a young woman (Emma Watson), who is hired to work for the world's largest and most powerful tech & social media company, but soon realizes that a groundbreaking experiment led by the company's founder (Tom Hanks) threatens to destroy the boundaries of privacy, ethics and freedom, and her actions will determine the future of humanity.

The film is written and directed by James Ponsoldt ("The Spectacular Now") and co-written by author Dave Eggers. The cast also includes Karen Gillan, John Boyega, Patton Oswalt, Bill Paxton, Ellar Coltrane, Glenne Headly and Nate Corddry.

"The Circle" opened in theaters today and is expected to finish its opening weekend at the box-office with $10-12 million. The film received generally negative reviews from critics.

GROW HOUSE Trailers, Clips and Poster

"Grow House" is a comedy written and directed by DJ Pooh ("Friday"). The film's title refers to properties that are usually located in suburban residential environments and are used to produce marijuana. The protagonists are two friends, Pat (DeRay Davis) and Darius (Lil' Duval) who decide to build their own marijuana growing business, legally certified growers to be more exact, and sell their crop to dispensaries.

The film also stars Faizon Love, Martin Starr, Raquel Lee, Snoop Dogg, Alice Hunter, Malcolm McDowell, Zulay Henao and Lin Shaye.

The dystopian drama is based on Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name that envisioned a society in the near future where a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship has replaced the United States. Women are subjugated and some, called Handmaids, are assigned to the elites based on their fertility.

The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Joseph Fiennes, Samira Wiley, Max Minghella, Alexis Bledel, and Ann Dowd.

PHOENIX FORGOTTEN Trailers, Clip, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Phoenix Forgotten" is a found footage horror film with a sci-fi twist produced by Ridley Scott ("Alien") and directed by Justin Barber. The film chronicles the final hours of a group of teenagers through unseen footage discovered 20 years later. The film's premise is based on the event known as "Phoenix Lights" that occured in Phoenix, Arizona and Sonora, Mexico on March 13, 1997.

The film stars Florence Hartigan, Luke Spencer Roberts, Chelsea Lopez, Justin Matthews, Clint Jordan and Cyd Strittmatter.

"Phoenix Forgotten" premiered in the U.S. on April 21, 2017 and received mixed reviews from critics. It did not make the Top 10 at the box-office, grossing only $1.9 million from 1,592 theaters in its opening weekend.

"Great News" is a new sitcom created by "The Mindy Project" and "30 Rock" writer Tracey Wigfield and produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

The series stars Briga Heelan as a cable TV news producer who faces an unexpected workplace challenge in the form of her own mother (Andrea Martin), who has joined the station as an intern. The cast also includes Horatio Sanz, John Michael Higgins, Nicole Richie and Adam Campbell.

"Great News" premieres tonight on NBC at 9p with two episodes. The next episodes will also be paired back-to-back in the following weeks. The first season will feature 10 episodes.

"Born in China" is a new documentary from Disney's independent division Disneynature in collaboration with Shanghai Media Group. Directed by Chuan Lu and narrated by John Krasinski and Xun Zhou, the film focuses on the lives of a panda and her cub, a two-year golden monkey who feels displaced by his baby sister, and a mother snow leopard struggling to raise her two cubs.

"Born in China" premiered in the U.S. on April 21st and received positive reviews from critics. It went on to gross $5.1 million in its opening weekend, placing fourth at the box-office and surpassing other new wide releases like "The Promise", "Unforgettable", "Free Fire" and "Phoenix Forgotten".
