AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

"Amityville: The Awakening" is a reboot of the Amityville horror franchise that first started in 1979 and was followed by a series of seven sequels and a 2005 remake.

Written and directed by Franck Khalfoun ("P2"), the film follows teenager Belle Walker (Bella Thorne), who moves with her family into a new house located in Amityville, Long Island. The house was the site of a mass murder in 1974, and is now supposedly haunted. Needless to say, things take a turn for the worse.

The cast also includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Cameron Monaghan, Mckenna Grace, Thomas Mann, Jennifer Morrison, Kurtwood Smith and Taylor Spreitler.

After a difficult production and several delays, "Amityville: The Awakening" was finally released in only 10 theaters on October 28, 2017 and grossed just $742. The film received mostly negative reviews.

SUBURBICON Trailers, TV Spots, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Suburbicon" is a satire directed by George Clooney from a script co-written by Clooney, Grant Heslov and the Coen brothers. The film is set in a peaceful 1950s suburban community that hides a disturbing reality. In this context, a husband and father played by Matt Damon is forced to confront the dark suburban nightmare after a home invasion upsets the community's fragile balance.

The film also stars Julianne Moore, Oscar Isaac, Karimah Westbrook, Glenn Fleshler, Noah Jupe and Alex Hassell.

"Suburbicon" opened in theaters on October 27th, 2017 and received mostly negative reviews. While the cast received the occasional praise, Clooney caught most of the heavy flak for mishandling the film's conflicting tones and delivering an edgeless satire. The film is considered one of the most disappointing of 2017. It also tanked at the box-office, only grossing $2.8 million from 2,046 theaters in its opening weekend.

MINDHUNTER Series Trailers, Interviews, Images and Poster

"Mindhunter" is a new crime drama series created by Joe Penhall and produced by David Fincher and Charlize Theron, based on the book "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit" written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker.

The show is set in 1977 during the FBI's early days of criminal psychology and profiling, and follows two agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, as they conduct interviews with imprisoned serial killers in order to better understand the mind of a killer and find patterns that would help the FBI solve similar cases. Anna Torv, Hannah Gross, Sonny Valicenti and Cotter Smith also star.

"Mindhunter" was released on October 13, 2017 and is now streaming via Netflix. The show has been renewed for a second season.

Written and directed by Jason Hall (writer of "American Sniper"), the war drama "Thank You for Your Service" is based on the non-fiction book of the same name written by David Finkel, and focuses on the posttraumatic stress disorder that affects U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq.

The film stars Miles Teller, Haley Bennett, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Joe Cole, Beulah Koale, Kate Lyn Sheil and Amy Schumer.

"Thank You for Your Service" opened in theaters on October 27th, 2017 and received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Most reviewers praised the acting and thoughtful examination of PTSD, while some considered that it's a flawed depitction, despite its good intentions. The film is expected to gross around $4-5 million in its opening weekend at the box-office.

The third season of the crime drama series "Blindspot" has premiered on October 27th, 2017 on NBC. The new season jumps forward two years and finds Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) trying to track down Jane (Jaimie Alexander), who now has a new batch of luminescent tattoos. The show was created by Martin Gero and it also stars Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Luke Mitchell, Chad Donella and Mary Stuart Masterson.

Directed by The Spierig Brothers ("Predestination") from a script written by Pete Goldfinger & Josh Stolberg ("Piranha 3D"), "Jigsaw" (formerly titled "Saw: Legacy") is the eighth installment in the "Saw" franchise.

The film picks up eleven years after the death of infamous serial killer John Kramer aka Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), as a new group of people are kidnapped and put through a series of sadistic trials, while a new mystery unfolds, seemingly connected to Jigsaw.

The cast also includes Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Hannah Emily Anderson, Cle Bennett, Laura Vandervoort, Paul Braunstein, Mandela Van Peebles, Brittany Allen and Josiah Black.

"Jigsaw" opened in theaters on October 27th, 2017 and received mixed to negative reviews, which concluded that the film will be a welcome return to form for fans, much better than "Saw 3D", but still suffering from of the same issues that plagued every installment since the first. The film is expected to gross around $20 million in its opening weekend.

Netflix has released the second season of their fantasy series "Stranger Things". Created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, the series is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, where a series of strange supernatural events occur. The new season is set around Halloween, 1984, one year after the events of the first season, and will expand on the mythology developed so far for the show. The Duffer brothers have also stated that the second season was designed more like a sequel than a new season.

The series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp. New additions to the new season's cast include Sean Astin ("The Lord of the Rings") and Dacre Montgomery ("Power Rangers").
