GYPSY Netflix Series Trailers, Images and Poster

"Gypsy" is a new drama series created by Lisa Rubin that stars Naomi Watts as a therapist working in New York, who becomes dangerously involved with the people in her patients' lives. The show's first two episodes were directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson ("Fifty Shades of Grey"), who also serves as executive-producer. Billy Crudup, Sophie Cookson, Karl Glusman, Lucy Boynton and Brooke Bloom co-star.

The first season of "Gypsy" has been released today, June 30th, 2017 via Netflix. The show also features a new recording of Fleetwood Mac's "Gypsy" performed by Stevie Nicks.

IN PURSUIT OF SILENCE Documentary Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

Directed by Patrick Shen, the documentary "In Pursuit of Silence" is a contemplative and cinematic experience that explores our relationship with silence, with sound, and the impact of noise on our lives. The film is the first comprehensive look at this topic whose many dimensions lie at the heart of so much of human progress.

ZOO Season 3 Trailers and Images

The sci-fi series "Zoo" premieres its third season tonight on CBS at 10p. Based on the novel of the same name written by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge, the series follows a group of professionals who are trying to stop an epydemic of violent animal attacks. In the third season, a new threat rises in the form of an army of unstoppable lab-made creatures focused on destroying mankind.

PAULINA (LA PATOTA) Trailer, Images and Posters

The Argentinian drama "Paulina" is a remake of the 1960 film "La Patota" (Spanish for "gang"), and it stars Dolores Fonzi as Paulina, a young woman who leaves her privileged life and career prospects behind to work as a teacher within an indigenous community of extreme poverty on Argentina's border with Paraguay and Brazil. One night, she is raped by a gang. In the aftermath of the shocking sexual assault, Paulina's unfathomable actions, and the limits of social justice, are examined unflinchingly.

Co-written and directed by Santiago Mitre ("El Estudiante"), the film also stars Oscar Martínez, Esteban Lamothe, Cristian Salguero and Andrea Quattrocchi. The film won the Critics Week and FIPRESCI prizes at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

"Paulina" opened in select theaters in the U.S. on June 23rd, 2017.

THE BAD BATCH Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"The Bad Batch" is one of those films that are nearly impossible to categorize. So here goes. Written and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour ("A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night"), the film is a post-apocalyptic darkly comedic horror romance (see what I mean ?) that stars Suki Waterhouse as a young woman who is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she'll have to fight for her very existence in this human-eat-human world.

The film also stars Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Diego Luna, Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Carrey and Jayda Fink.

"The Bad Batch" opened in select theaters on June 23rd, 2017 and received mixed reviews. The film was generally criticized for failing to maintain the viewer's interest throughout its overlong running time due to its wildly jumbled narrative tone.

THE BIG SICK Trailer, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Poster

"The Big Sick" provides a cross-cultural twist to the usual romantic comedy formula and it stars Zoe Kazan and comedian Kumail Nanjiani as a couple whose relationship is complicated by their cultural differences. The story is based on Nanjiani's own relationship with his now-wife Emily V. Gordon, and they both wrote the film's script.

Directed by Michael Showalter ("Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp") and produced by Judd Apatow ("Trainwreck"), the film also stars Holly Hunter, Ray Romano, Anupam Kher, Zenobia Shroff and Bo Burnham.

"The Big Sick" opened in select theaters on June 23rd, 2017 and will expand nationwide on July 14th.

PREACHER Season 2 Trailers, Clip, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The second season of the TV series "Preacher" started off with a special premiere last night, June 25th on AMC, and will continue to air Mondays at 9p starting tonight, June 26th.

Developed by Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad"), Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, the show is based on the comic book series of the same name created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and it follows a preacher (Dominic Cooper) going through a crisis of faith, who is possessed by an otherworldly entity that gives him The Word of God. The preacher sets off on a road trip to search for God with the help of his girlfriend (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire (Joseph Gilgun).

"Preacher" Season 2 has been expanded from the first season's 10 episodes to 13. New additions to the cast include Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Justin Prentice and Ronald Guttman.

THE BEGUILED (2017) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

Based on the novel of the same name written by Thomas Cullinan, the period drama "The Beguiled" is set at a girls' school in Virginia during the Civil War, where a wounded soldier (Colin Farrell) is taken in by the young women living there sheltered from the outside world. The house is taken over by sexual tension and dangerous rivalries, and taboos are broken in an unexpected turn of events.

Written and directed by Sofia Coppola ("Lost in Translation"), the film also stars Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, Oona Laurence, Angourie Rice, Addison Riecke and Emma Howard.

"The Beguiled" opened in select theaters on June 23rd, 2017 and will expand nationwide on June 30th. It received mostly positive reviews from critics. Coppola received praise for adding more depth to the source material, and the cast was equally praised for their strong performances. The film won the Best Director award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, and Coppola became only the second woman to do so after 56 years.

GLOW Series Trailers, Featurette, Images and Posters

"GLOW" is a new Netflix dramedy series that focuses on the personal and proffesional lives of a group of women who perform for a wrestling organization in 1980s Los Angeles.

The title GLOW is actually an acronym for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, a women's proffesional wrestling promotion originally created by David McLane that premiered on television in 1986 and continued in various forms after it stopped airing. The performers were usually actresses, models, dancers and stunt women looking for a job in show business. The show features a fictionalized version of G.L.O.W.

The series was created by Liz Flahive ("Nurse Jackie", producer/writer) and Carly Mensch ("Orange is the New Black", producer/writer) and it stars Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Ellen Wong, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, Britt Baron, Sunita Mani, Marianna Palka, Kia Stevens, Jackie Tohn, Kate Nash and Marc Maron.

The first season of "GLOW" consists of 10 episodes and was released on June 23rd, 2017 via Netflix. The show received positive reviews from critics that praised its writing, cast and production design.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is the fifth installment in the long-running partnership between Paramount and Hasbro. Michael Bay once again directs, but he has announced that this will be his last film in the franchise he directs. Mark Wahlberg also returns as Cade Yeager from "Age of Extinction" and he is joined by franchise veterans Josh Duhamel and John Turturro, and newcomers Laura Haddock, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael and Anthony Hopkins.

The voice cast includes Peter Cullen, Erik Aadahl, Ken Watanabe, Omar Sy, Jim Carter, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Frank Welker, Reno Wilson, John DiMaggio and Mark Ryan.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" opened in theaters on June 21st, 2017 and was universally panned by critics. The complaints regarded the usual suspects found in most Bay movies: brash mix of action and comedy, chaotic editing, confusing plot, the objectification of women and machismo. The visual-effects, however, were well-regarded.

The film is also having trouble at the box-office, grossing an all-time franchise low of $15.7 million on its first day, which lowers initial projections of a $70-75 million opening weekend down to $60-65 million.

Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters for MAUDIE Starring Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke

Directed by Aisling Walsh ("Fingersmith") from a script by Sherry White ("Rookie Blue"), the biopic "Maudie" tells the story of artist Maud Lewis (Sally Hawkins), a fragile yet determined woman suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, who overcame the difficulties of her life and became a famous folk painter.

The film also stars Ethan Hawke, Kari Matchett, Zachary Bennett, Billy MacLellan and Gabrielle Rose.

"Maudie" opened in only four theaters in the U.S. on June 16th, and grossed a decent $49,842 in its first three days. It received generally positive reviews from critics, particularly for Hawkins and Hawke's performances.

The horror series "The Mist" is a new adaptation of the novella written by Stephen King, which was previusly made into the 2007 film written and directed by Frank Darabont.

Created by Danish writer/director Christian Torpe ("Silent Heart"), the show is set in a small town that is suddenly engulfed in an eerie mist, which is not only extremely creepy, but also comes packed with a wide array of deadly threats. In the midst of all the chaos, a family struggles to survive and maintain their morality and sanity as society breaks down around them.

The cast features Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Frances Conroy, Russell Posner, Gus Birney, Okezie Morro, Danica Curcic, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Holly Deveaux, Bill Carr and Luke Cosgrove.

"The Mist" premieres on Spike tonight at 10p.

THE BOOK OF HENRY Trailer, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"The Book of Henry" is a drama directed by Colin Trevorrow ("Jurassic World") from a script by Gregg Hurwitz ("V"). The film tells the story of a single mother (Naomi Watts ) of two, whose 11-year old genius son Henry (Jaeden Lieberher) dies of a brain tumor. With instructions left by Henry within a carefully crafted notebook, she sets out to rescue a young girl living next door from the hands of her abusive stepfather.

The cast also includes Jacob Tremblay, Maddie Ziegler, Dean Norris, Sarah Silverman, Bobby Moynihan and Lee Pace.

"The Book of Henry" opened in select theaters on June 16th, 2017 and received generally negative reviews. While the performances were praised, the film was considered too outlandish to be credible and too inconsistent to efficiently handle the many genres and tones it tries to juggle.

Even as a limited release, the film performed well in its opening weekend at the box-office, grossing $1.4 million from 579 theaters, which is considered quite a solid start.

WRECKED Season 2 Trailer, Promos, Clips and Images

The sitcom "Wrecked" premiered the first two episodes of its second season on June 20th, 2017 on TBS. The show follows a group of plane crash survivors who struggle to stay alive and get along on a deserted island. The new season introduces pirates into the mix, led by The Barracuda (Ebonee Noel).

Created by Jordan Shipley and Justin Shipley, the series stars Asif Ali, Zach Cregger, Rhys Darby, Brooke Dillman, Ginger Gonzaga, Will Greenberg, Jessica Lowe, Ally Maki and Brian Sacca.

The next episode of "Wrecked" Season 2 will air on June 27th.
