This week, Michael Bay's latest Transformers movie, "Transformers: The Last Knight" explodes into theaters. It's also the only new wide release, so if you want to escape the giant robots, some new limited releases might pique your interest. Among those, we have Sofia Coppola's Cannes winner "The Beguiled", the romantic comedy "The Big Sick" and the dystopian romance with a cannibalistic twist "The Bad Batch".

When Emily is beset with a mystery illness, it forces Kumail to navigate the medical crisis with her parents, Beth and Terry (Holly Hunter and Ray Romano) who he's never met, while dealing with the emotional tug-of-war between his family and his heart.
