2017 Writers Guild Awards Winners Announced (Complete List)

wga-2017-winners-moonlight-arrival

"La La Land" finally took a break from winning awards last night as the Writers Guild of America announced the winners of their 69th annual WGA Awards. "Moonlight" and "Arrival" secured the big wins for Original Screenplay and Adapted Screenplay, respectively. Of course this won't mean much for the Oscars, where "La La Land" is nominated for Original Screenplay, while "Moonlight" is nominated for Adapted Screenplay, since the film is based on an unproduced play.

In the television categories, the winners were "The Americans", a double-win for "Atlanta", "This is Us", "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", "Confirmation" and "American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson".

Read the complete list of 2017 WGA winners after the jump.
