MOONLIGHT Trailer, Featurettes, Clips, Images and Poster

Written and directed by Barry Jenkins, the coming-of-age drama "Moonlight" chronicles the life of Chiron, a young black man struggling to find his place in the world and deal with his own sexuality. The film is split between three time periods in his life, childhood (Alex R. Hibbert), adolescence (Ashton Sanders), and adulthood (Trevante Rhodes), over the course of 12 years. Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Jaden Piner and Duan Sanderson co-star.

The film has received quite a lot of praise during this awards season and already won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture (Drama) after receiving six nominations. It has also received four BAFTA nods, including Best Film, as well as recognition from the Screen Actors, Writers and Producers Guild. It's not hard to predict that when the Oscar nominations are announced, "Moonlight" is going to be on that list.

"Moonlight" opened in theaters on October 21, 2016 in limited release and expanded nationwide on November 18th. The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on February 28th.
