Jake Gyllenhaal int talks to star in Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals
Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal are in talks to join Tom Ford's thriller "Nocturnal Animals". This will be Ford's second film after the excellent debut "A Single Man" which starred Julianne Moore and Colin Firth.

The story, based on Austin Wright's book "Tony and Susan", follows a woman named Susan who receives a book manuscript from her ex-husband, a man whom she left 20 years earlier, asking for her opinion. Events unfold in a story-within-a-story structure, tracking the story in the novel about a man whose family vacation turns deadly; and the story of Susan who finds herself having to confront some dark truths.

Insider reports indicate that Joaquin Phoenix and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are also in the run for unknown leading roles. Also, according to Variety, Adams is pushing hard for the role of Susan, while Gyllenhaal is pursuing the male lead.
